  • Field Day, parents volunteer here - sign up to be the hero who hands out otter pops!
  • Argo Garden Summer Water Party - 1 hour a week over the summer. Sign up here.
  • Musical - two chairs to coordinate between the school and the theatre company
  • Robotics - two chairs to run the program from August to November
  • Book Fair - two chairs to coordinate the Book Fair in November
  • Carnival - one co-chair to plan Argo Carnival (Carnoween?)

The Birthday Book Club Celebration is scheduled for Thursday, 5/22!  Check your email for the invitation. Head to Birthday Book Club to find out more and sign up to volunteer.

🧾REIMBURSEMENT DEADLINE THIS WEEK

The deadline to get reimbursed for PTA related expenses is this Friday, 5/23. Requests submitted after that will not be reimbursed. Visit the PTA website for the form and instructions.

🍽️ ARGO DINES OUT - SHAKE SHACK πŸ”

Wednesday, 5/28 from 10:30a-10:00p, join us at Shake Shack at Westgate to eat, connect, and make a difference! 25% of the proceeds will come back directly to Argo PTA.

🌼 GARDEN UPDATE

Argo Garden Summer Water Party 2025! We are asking for people to come to check on the garden for 1 hour a week, but more is always better! Tasks will be: water plants and trees, check on shed doors, weeding, water conservation. There will be a sign in and out sheet and a next task list to address garden needs. If you are able to help, please add your name here.

REDWOOD MIDDLE SCHOOL INFO FOR CURRENT 5TH GRADERS

Hello Current 5th Graders/Rising 6th Graders! Redwood Middle School PTA  is excited to announce Curtains: Young@Part as the annual musical production for next school year!  Misty Davies and Erin Gavin will be at the helm of this endeavor, co-directing and choreographing the show! Erin and Misty have been working together for many years producing a number of musicals, including Anastasia:The Musical Youth Edition at Redwood during the 23-24 school year. We are thrilled to be back on board at Redwood and look forward to welcoming new and returning students to the musical. All who audition will be cast. 

If you are interested in auditioning for Curtains: Young@Part or learning more as you consider auditioning, please join our Google Classroom using code d3m55ds. We will populate the classroom during the summer with important information, as we prepare for auditions in late August or early September. Be on the lookout!  A welcome message is waiting on you in the classroom.

SARATOGA EDUCATION FOUNDATION (SEF) WORKSHOP SURVEY

This year, the Saratoga Education Foundation (SEF) launched a new series of workshops designed to meet the needs of our community, based on feedback from principals and Saratoga families. In the spring, we offered several sessions on parenting topics—and now we’d love to hear your thoughts. Whether or not you attended a workshop, your input is important to us.
