The annual musical program at Argonaut is sponsored by PTA and is a big hit among the kids and parents alike.

In addition to building social and communication skills, involvement in musical programs and performances has been shown to improve students' self-esteem as well as their confidence in their academic abilities.

All budding actors and actresses will be cast and guided through the journey of creating a musical!

Finding Nemo Jr.

Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo JR. brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Does my child need to attend ALL the rehearsals?
  
  Some rehearsal days will be "all call" days, where all actors must be present. Once the cast has been decided, some days will only call certain performers. Closer to show time, there are several mandatory rehearsals.
  
  The registration process allows you to specify a conflict calendar for days when the actors have another commitment.
  
  
• Will my money be refunded if I choose not to participate?
  
  After auditions but before the casting is decided, if your child chooses not to participate, you may contact WVYT to request a full refund.
