The school year is in full swing, and teachers are excited to welcome parent volunteers. Whether it’s supporting art docent lessons, assisting in the makerspace, or leading cornerstone activities, there are plenty of ways to get involved. Saratoga Union School District requires all volunteers to complete a quick clearance process. Here’s what you’ll need:

TB RISK ASSESSMENT FOR SUSD VOLUNTEERS AVAILABLE TODAY!
As part of the SUSD Volunteer Clearance process, volunteers are required to have a TB Risk Assessment done every four (4) years. SUSD will be hosting assessments for eligible* volunteers who need a TB Risk Assessment Form completed OR renewed in order to volunteer. There is no cost to volunteers for this assessment.
*IMPORTANT: To determine if you are eligible and have NO RISK FACTORS, please review the TB Questionnaire on page 7 of the Volunteer Information Packet.
If you have no TB risk factors, you may meet with the nurse for your TB Risk Assessment Interview. If you do have TB risk factors, you will need to consult your healthcare provider.
Please note: this is for TB Assessments only, no TB shots will be given.
