๐Ÿงช SCIENCE FAIR

Argo Science Fair – Wednesday, April 23rd | 6:00–8:00 PM | MPR

Family Viewing: Join us from 6:00–8:00 PM to explore all the amazing student projects!

We have an exciting evening planned:

  • Certificates of participation for every student presented by Principal Bosco
  • An exciting hands-on Kinetic Roller Coasters activity led by an Argonaut parent, Raffie Colet
  • Live demos from the RMS Robotics teams (VEX and FTC) — a great opportunity to learn more about the middle school robotics program and the award winning robots
  • Goodie bags sponsored by the PTA and snack bags sponsored by SEF for all participants

STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK

Argonaut PTA invites you to join us on a week-long celebration to show how much we value our teachers and staff.  Our teachers and staff have always gone above and beyond to support and enrich our students' education.  This week is our turn (Argo families) to show them how much we appreciate all of their efforts.  Please sign up to bring item(s) needed for our daily potlucks.

We heard that one Dad has already purchased a brisket to smoke for the teachers!

SPRING PICNIC AND 4TH ASSOCIATION MEETING

Mark Friday 5/9 on your calendars for our Argo Spring Picnic and 4th Argo PTA Association Meeting. It’s a big one! Members, we will need you to come out in force to approve our 2025-26 PTA Board, calendar, and budget. Watch for more details in the coming weeks.

SARATOGA HIGH SCHOOL AND SARATOGA THEATRE ARTS

Saratoga High School Drama presents The Little Mermaid, a timeless tale of love, friendship, and self-discovery following the adventures of free-spirited mermaid princess Ariel. For the first time ever, this production brings together talented students from Saratoga's high, middle, and elementary schools making this a magical show for all ages. SARATOGA EDUCATION FOUNDATION (SEF)

NEW “DAYLIGHTING” TRAFFIC LAW

The Sheriff’s Office is asking us to help spread the word about California's new "daylighting" law, which is now in effect. This new law aims to improve pedestrian safety near schools and all intersections by prohibiting parking within 20 feet of any crosswalk (or 15 feet if there's a curb extension). This rule applies to both marked and unmarked crosswalks, regardless of painted curbs or signs, and is intended to increase visibility for drivers and pedestrians. Please be mindful of this new regulation when dropping off or picking up students to ensure the safety of our children and community. Learn more about California's new "daylighting" law.
